Game Review – Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna/I Am Setsuna (PS Vita/PS4)

Much like Child of Light, Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna is a game that gives a nostalgic feeling by recreating the glory of JRPGs from the 8/16 bits era, while still creating something new at the same time. Those two games are actually pretty different from each other, but it’s still interesting how both feature a red-haired heroine. Red must be the color for “nostalgia”! Anyway, here’s how this game works and how it doesn’t!

  1. Awesome! I was hoping more channels/outlets would cover this after it came out in Japan, but to no avail 😥 I’ve been quite interested in it since it was announced, so thanks for covering it! 😀

Definitely gonna be looking out for it when it launches in the West now. I love your stuff. It’s rad to see a bilingual Youtuber get the info on games before they come out here in the West 😀 You rule!

  2. Seems awfully like an upgraded version of Talesweaver, which is bringing back so much nostalgia right now.

Man, I really need to consider getting consoles to play games like this!
