The concept behind this very peculiar title by Examu, Marvelous, and Nitroplus is nothing original, and it wasn’t even the first time it happened, either! But let’s leave the horrible past behind and enjoy the NOW, because Nitroplus Blasterz is, in fact, a very decent game!
When you play Blade Arcus, it will feels like you get an Art Gallery filled with Tony Taka’s works, but you need to play a mini-game in order to unlock each illustration, and said “mini-game” just happens to be a fighting game. Undoubtedly, Tony Taka’s lewd art is the selling point of this game. But maybe, just maybe, there’s actually a very decent game hidden beneath all this shameless fan-service…or maybe not!
The original Utawarerumono was a serious tale about war and conquest with tragic developments. I could even compare it to Lord of the Rings or even “A Song of Ice and Fire” (Although George Martin’s novels have more “H-scenes” than the actual Eroge). Itsuwari no Kamen, however, is more of a comedic story, with more female characters than recent Aquaplus RPGs and a lot more of fan-service. All of this combined with a protagonist that is a magnet for troubles involving baths and naked women. Sacrifices were made in favor of those “Galge” antics, as seem that all the RPG gameplay that’s left is very simplistic and lacks depth. But this game is still bound to please fans…probably! Either way, I wouldn’t recommend it! And here’s why:

I love Steins;Gate! I have such good memories from watching the anime and the game! Which is why I hope for the actual sequel to be nothing like this spin-off! I wasn’t exactly expecting a cute love story out of Steins;Gate, but this seems to be the fate of every game from the science adventure series. At least Hiyoku Renri no Darling didn’t suck! Well, not too much!

It has been long since our last video-review, but war never changes! Zebaca’s voice still sounds just like mine, we keep making billions of references that no one understand and we still talk about embarrassing games that most people would never play! Ha! Those losers are missing such a great game! It’s like a Dream C Club where you can actually go out of the host club and walk around town!…and then…you do nothing…IT’S AWESOME!
Code: Embryo. The amnesic “watashi” (who is totally not Nine from Blazblue) explores another dimmension in search for her “imouto” (who is totally not Celica from Blazblue). This chapter shall be remembered as the Genesis of the Blazblue universe!…Totally!
In this episode, we watch the end of the epic saga that started two years ago with
According to sale-charts, this title is doing pretty great, but I didn’t have much fun playing it. Well, this is how licensed games usually are. Still, we did this video review to show the truth about this game! And also because I wanted to do something meaningful with this thing. It was expensive, after all!
BTW: Thanks for the thumbnail, ! Now the love for lord Kirito-kun can reach even more people!
